I am doctoral candidate in the Learning Technologies Program in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction in the College of Education at the University of Texas at Austin where I also work as a Web Developer at the Meadows Center for Preventing Educational Risk. I couldn't fit all of that on a business card, so I decided to make this site.

I am originally (more or less) from Florida. I went to UF (Go Gata!) for both undergrad and grad school. I miss my friends and family in Florida, but I really like living in Austin. I have a dog named Taco, who is named after my second favorite food. One day, I will have a dog named Hamburger. I like music a lot, and have been trying to start making some again, but you know-- Ph.D. and all...

My background is in History and Social Studies Ed., and I am still interested in both. Specifically, I am interested in learning history through informal means, especially through online archives and museums. More generally, I am interested in the role of technology for reconceptualizing curriculum.
